ABOUT ME

Anna was born in southern Vietnam and grew up in California, where she received her BS in Biological Science from California State University of Long Beach. Fascinated by the beautiful illustrations in her science textbooks throughout college and high school, Anna strongly believes in the importance of visual aids in understanding biological sciences and medicine. Driven by her love for science and passion for visual arts, she decided to pursue a career in biomedical illustration. She is now a second-year graduate medical illustration student at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her work offers a unique perspective on design, color, and storytelling with the goal of communicating complex scientific concepts.
